Our Chubute Ethiopian Roast is sustainably sourced from the Guji region in Ethiopia, Africa (1900-2000-meters above sea level). As the birthing grounds of coffee, Ethiopia is known throughout the world as the “mother of all coffees” for its delicious and rich coffee profiles. Landscape in the Guji region is known for its semi-forest characteristics. Coffee trees benefit from the lush forest canopy and the decomposing foliage debris. In addition to the lands, the microclimates within Guji really attribute to the distinct flavor profiles.
A medium body roast with light to medium acidity. Our Ethiopian roast is processed naturally and brings out a very distinct set of flavors including strawberry, vanilla, orange blossom and black tea. You can expect a very subtle and delicate balance of taste exhibiting floral and fruity flavors.
