Known as the “mother of all coffees,” Ethiopia is revered worldwide for its rich and diverse coffee profiles. The Chelchele area, with its clay-rich soil and fertile lands, offers an ideal microclimate for coffee cultivation. Here, coffee trees thrive in the shade of Enset, Albizia, Acacia, Militia, and Polyscias trees, creating the perfect environment for exceptional beans.
This medium-body roast features a light to medium acidity and is processed naturally (dry). Hand-selected coffee cherries are meticulously sorted to ensure only the ripest are chosen. They are then sun-dried on raised beds for 12–15 days, allowing for a consistent and optimal moisture level.
